🚛Goodman’s Oakdale Expansion: 90,000 sqm Industrial Hub

A major new phase of Goodman’s Oakdale East Industrial Estate is now before the public, with plans for a 90,000 sqm industrial development at 2 – 10 Wallgrove Road in Horsley Park.  

The proposal relates to Precinct 2 within the Oakdale East Industrial Estate, which spans 88 hectares across the Western Sydney Employment Area. The latest stage covers 15.75 hectares.  

Under the revised masterplan, Goodman is seeking approval for three warehouse buildings across four tenancies, ranging in size from circa 13,000 sqm to 34,500 sqm. The development’s total gross lettable area exceeds 90,000 sqm, positioning it as one of the most significant new industrial offerings within the Fairfield LGA.

Goodman’s plan reflects the increasing demand for large format warehouses in close proximity to Sydney’s key infrastructure. The Oakdale East site is uniquely positioned, with direct access to the M7 Motorway and convenient links to the M4 Motorway, Great Western Highway and the future Western Sydney Freight Line. This transport connectivity ensures efficiency for both tenants and employees, while reinforcing the precinct’s role as a logistics and industrial powerhouse.  

The construction of Precinct 2 is forecast to generate 650 jobs, with a further 1,084 operational jobs once the warehouses are occupied. Precinct 1 is already home to four warehouse buildings and a masonry plant, approved by Fairfield Council in 2019. Meanwhile, Precinct 3 is currently progressing under Stage 2 approval. Together, these precincts represent a carefully staged rollout of industrial capacity that will cement Oakdale East as one of Sydney’s most important industrial hubs.
