#1 Place for Development in Sydney

A Woolworths-anchored retail centre has been approved at 156-162 Guntawong Road in Riverstone East, clearing the way for the delivery of the planned local centre for the emerging Riverstone East precinct.

The project will deliver a 9,069 sqm retail and commercial development on a 13,420 sqm B2 Local Centre site within a broader 4.048 hectare landholding.

The centre will be anchored by a 3,862 sqm Woolworths supermarket supported by a 150 sqm liquor tenancy, a 601 sqm mini-major, 1775 sqm of specialty retail and 1,566 sqm of commercial space.

The scheme is organised around upper and lower piazza areas fronting Tallawong Road with additional pedestrian access from Guntawong Road and a connection across the northern portion of the site.

The development also includes public domain works including reconstruction of Guntawong Road, the extension of Tallawong Road and the delivery of internal roads to support the broader redevelopment of the site.

Subdivision approval will create four super lots across the 4-hectare holding, enabling future mixed-use and residential development on surrounding parcels.

The site sits within the Riverstone East precinct, where large residential estates are rapidly being built. This will be the first major supermarket-anchored retail centre for Riverstone East.
