Dulux Group has received the tick of approval for a major redevelopment of its long-standing Selleys manufacturing site at 15 and 20 Gow Street in Padstow.
The approval marks a significant investment in the Canterbury-Bankstown industrial corridor, reinforcing the long-term presence of one of Australia’s most recognisable consumer brands in Sydney’s manufacturing base.
The 6-hectare site, currently occupied by Selleys and the Dulux Group, has long served as the brand’s key production hub. Situated between the M5 Motorway and Gow Street, the site is strategically positioned near major logistics routes including the A6 Fairford Road connection and within close proximity to Bankstown Airport and Port Botany.
Under the approved plans, the site will undergo a complete transformation into a state-of-the-art chemical manufacturing and distribution facility – a move that aims to modernise production capacity while enhancing safety, efficiency and environmental performance.
