#1 Place for Development in Sydney

Under public exhibition is a key corner site in Redfern, where a new mixed-use precinct will bring fresh life to a formerly underutilised block near one of Sydney’s busiest transport nodes.

Set across three lots at 2 – 14 Vine Street, 16 – 30 Vine Street and 32 – 34 Eveleigh Street, the 2,405 sqm L-shaped site is just 270 metres from Redfern Station and sits within the high-profile Redfern-Waterloo Authority sites – a strategic zone earmarked for urban renewal under the State Environmental Planning Policy (Precincts – Eastern Harbour City).

The proposal envisions two mid-rise buildings rising between 3 and 6 storeys. Together, they will deliver a dynamic mix of 23 new apartments, 966 sqm of retail space and over 4,200 sqm of commercial floorspace.

The western portion of the site will house a part 3-storey, part 6-storey commercial and retail building comprising:

  • 494 sqm of commercial space with an outdoor courtyard
  • 528 sqm of ground-level retail units
  • 2,754 sqm of upper-level commercial tenancies

Meanwhile, the eastern section will host a part 2-storey, part 6-storey building containing:

  • 424 sqm of retail
  • 842 sqm of commercial space
  • 23 residential apartments, including 12 one-bedroom, 9 two-bedroom and 2 three-bedroom units
