Arada’s Newly Approved 33-Storey Tower a Huge Win For Campsie

By Charbel Abousleiman

#1 Place for Development in Sydney

Arada Australia has won approval for a 33-storey tower on the corner of London Street and North Parade, directly opposite Campsie station.

The 1,631 sqm amalgamated site currently holds two-storey shops and offices.

Historically, the site was constrained by a 27m height limit. Canterbury-Bankstown Council’s town centre plan for Campsie rezoned it to 67  metres, but an application via the Housing Delivery Authority increased this to 114 metres.

The tower will deliver 156 apartments above 509 sqm of ground-floor retail across two tenancies.

Most apartments will be two-bedrooms, with 27 three-bedroom and four 4-bedroom apartments.

Parking sits in a four-level landscaped podium above ground rather than a basement, which avoids deep excavation next to the Metro corridor. A full amenity level on level 5 has a pool, a gym and 905 sqm of communal space.

The scheme has grown since Arada’s 2025 application, which proposed 29 storeys and 142 apartments.
