EG has lodged plans for a 7 to 8 storey mixed-use development with 146 apartments at 7 City View Road in the Pennant Hills town centre.

The 6,476 sqm site sits around 450 metres from Pennant Hills Station, backs onto the railway line and is home to a vacant office building.

The site was rezoned in April 2024 to allow apartments, provided a minimum amount of commercial space was kept.

That rezoning was built around a 105-apartment scheme under the 23.5-metre height limit.

However, the Housing Delivery Authority pathway has allowed a new scheme to add an additional 41 apartments while staying below a height plane that follows the site’s steep slope.

The scheme is split into two buildings. It includes 3,319 sqm of commercial floor space and a café opening onto a landscaped courtyard.

The apartments are made up of 47-one-bedroom units, 73-two-bedroom units, 23-three-bedroom units and 3-four-bedroom units.
